Bad run

Unbelievable tonight. I've played 5 games and haven't had a sniff of making the money. First hand I just played plain bad. Second hand, I lost with KK to AA. Third hand, my stack go decimated when my JT lost to a board of JJK. Fourth hand, moved in with AJ on a tight table and called by 22. Last game, my QQ lost to KK.

Raising just doesn't work. People will call with anything. It's hardly surprising that Jos has an ROI of -28%. Laughable really. In general, I won't raise pre-flop with a bigger pair. But, I thought I'd give it a go. These are the consequences.

Plain daft

I thought I'd eradicated this kind of behaviour from my game. But, I got sucked in. I should have put out a smaller bet on the flop. Maybe 90 chips. I could have got away from the hand then. Anyhow, it doesn't excuse the fact that my pre-flop raise was called with 9To.

I think I've just about had enough of online poker. You can understand the short stacks calling, but when the big stack calls, that's really taking the piss. The guy got lucky to me earlier in the game too. I had QQ to a board of 336. He had 65 and hit a 6 on the river.
